ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Month Close
- Ensure all entries, adjustments, movements, and funds have been posted in Yardi Software for the month
- Review Yardi reports and update post months as needed
- Close Month in Yardi
- Reconciliation
- Reconcile month end entries between company accounting software Yardi and NAV
- Ensure all Rent and Adjusting entries from Yardi have been posted in NAV
- Ensure proper coding for properties/programs/funds reconcile with Yardi data
- Review Variance between software and create adjusting/reclass entries as needed
- Analyze and Review Cash Basis Adjustments
- Ensure Data Accuracy
- Analyze tenant ledgers within Yardi
- Review and Approve check requests in Docuware Software
- Fund Allocation
- Gather and analyze fund data entered in Yardi and allocate payments within NAV to ensure accuracy in Accounts Receivable data
- Other Requests as per the Manager of Accounting, Controller, SVP Of Finance or other Senior Management
Qualifications:
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role
- Proficiency with MS Excel (Pivot table and VLOOKUP – a must), Word and Outlook.
- Experience in accounting and property management software is a plus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Proficiency with MS Excel (Pivot table and VLOOKUP – a must), Word and Outlook.
- Experience with and knowledge of Representative Payee services preferred but not required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Salary: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00/Yr.
