About This Opportunity

 

We are seeking a National Account Manager (NAM) to manage and develop the Sam’s Club account for the InComm Payments prepaid gift card portfolio. This person will accelerate gift card sales growth across all Sam’s Club platforms including ecommerce and brick and mortar. You will report to the Sales Director, Sam’s Club.

 

The NAM should be detail orientated and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of category development, reporting, and analysis. This person will help the InComm account team support the prepaid gift card category at the retailer with the goal of growing sales and profitability with a special focus on operational, marketing and promotional initiatives.

 


Responsibilities

 

  • Ongoing communication with merchants by leading or facilitating weekly status calls and tracking open items
  • Drive new product launch to create opportunities for continued merchant account growth
  • Learn and utilize InComm databases and applications
  • Marketing and advertising support in collaboration with Trade Marketing:
    • Maintain marketing and advertising calendar and marketing tracker
    • Recruit and plan promotional sales opportunities
    • Plan and execute temporary display opportunities
  • Reporting and analysis:
    • Drive development of the sales story and presentations
    • Assist with and support weekly, monthly, and annual reporting for retailer
    • Assist with and support forecast new opportunities and existing business in retailer commission, topline, and GAAP $
    • Work with InComm analysts to run and review promotional results
  • Merchandising leadership:
    • Champion club support and merchandising initiatives and maintenance.
    • Collaborate with merchandising teams on special initiatives/resets/addressing problems to resolution
    • Reviewing reports/pictures provided by merchandisers to ensure execution and compliance with account team and retailer strategy

 


Qualifications

 

  • 5 years of Account Management experience, experience working Walmart or Sam’s Club is a plus
  • BS/BA or University degree in Business or similar field, MBA a plus
  • Prepaid or gift card business experience preferred
  • Advanced Excel/analytical and PowerPoint presentation skills
  • Strategic account planning
