Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- An ADN or higher degree in nursing
- An active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
- A minimum of one year of experience in an emergency room (ER) setting
Prior experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures is also highly valued.
Responsibilities
As an Emergency Department / ER Nurse, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing urgent medical care to patients
- Treating patients with trauma, injuries, or severe medical conditions
- Quickly assessing patients' needs and prioritizing care
- Monitoring patient health conditions, administering medications, and operating medical equipment
- Participating in code blue situations and other emergencies
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Educating patients and their families about their condition and care plan
