Role: RPA Business Analyst
Location: Chadds Ford/Wilmington, PA - Onsite
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process Discovery and Analysis:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation.
- Conduct detailed process assessments to determine suitability for RPA.
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements, including inputs, outputs, exceptions, and business rules.
- Create As-Is and To-Be process maps using tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
- Identify process inefficiencies, pain points, and opportunities for improvement through automation.
2. Solution Design and Documentation:
- Develop Process Design Documents (PDD) that outline detailed workflows, business rules, and exceptions.
- Assist in the creation of Solution Design Documents (SDD) in collaboration with the RPA development team.
- Define Business Requirements Documents (BRD) for automation initiatives.
- Work with process owners to ensure clear understanding of automation goals and outcomes.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a liaison between business units and the RPA development team to ensure successful implementation.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and address any issues or changes required.
4. RPA Lifecycle Support:
- Support the RPA developers during the build phase by clarifying business logic and rules.
- Work with RPA Developers and SMEs to ensure thorough testing of bots.
- Assist in deployment activities, including documentation, change management, and user training.
- Monitor and report on post-implementation performance and ensure ongoing optimization.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of business process mapping and documentation.
- Knowledge of RPA tools such as UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies for project management.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. Update PowerPoint deck.
- Proficiency in Automation Hub and Insights Reporting
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assist with troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certification in RPA tools (e.g., UiPath Business Analyst, Blue Prism Analyst).
- Prior experience working with process automation or business
