Finance Director
Location: Ridgeway, VA (Onsite M-F)

Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Finance Director to lead and oversee the financial operations of our organization. This individual will be responsible for financial planning, accounting oversight, budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, risk mitigation, procurement, and ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations. Additionally, this role plays a crucial part in supporting payroll functions, time-tracking processes, and employee benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the company’s financial strategy, overseeing revenue, expense, and capital planning while conducting detailed trend analysis and benchmarking.
- Ensure robust financial controls are in place, safeguarding assets, preventing fraud, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, legal regulations, and audit requirements.
- Deliver accurate, timely, and comprehensive financial reports to support both internal leadership and external stakeholders.
- Conduct complex financial analysis to provide data-driven insights, leveraging advanced spreadsheet modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Act as the primary liaison for external audits, ensuring smooth coordination and accurate financial disclosures.
- Oversee the procurement-to-payment cycle, ensuring timely processing of financial obligations, vendor payments, and expense tracking.
- Support payroll administration and maintain compliance with time & attendance policies and benefits-related financial matters.
- Continuously seek efficiency improvements, implementing system enhancements and refining policies and procedures to optimize financial processes.
- Take on additional strategic projects and responsibilities as directed by executive leadership.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7 years of financial management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership abilities with a strategic mindset and problem-solving expertise.
- Deep understanding of corporate finance principles, accounting best practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in financial systems and analysis tools, including Microsoft Office and industry-specific financial software.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
