Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in medical maintenance, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and effectively. This role requires the ability to analyze issues, fabricate solutions, and perform field service tasks as needed. A background in technical sales is a plus, as it will enhance communication with clients regarding equipment functionality.
Location: Greater Boston Area
Salary: $100-115k/yr
You will troubleshoot, maintain, and improve production equipment and fixturing. Be responsible for the administration and execution of preventive maintenance for all production equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in the repair and maintenance of automated manufacturing lines. Including practical experience with mechanical equipment (motors, gears, belts, couplings), pneumatics systems (air compressors, actuators), PLCs, robotics and basic electrical systems
- Working knowledge of PLC and robotic programming software (AB preferred)
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and automation design specifications.
