Job Summary:
The Master Scheduler is responsible for managing production schedules to align with changing demand and inventory requirements. This role ensures effective communication across internal departments such as sales, procurement, operations, and production, providing timely updates on orders, delivery dates, and other related matters.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the sequence of planning processes and event calendars, prioritizing customer satisfaction, efficient execution on the shop floor, and system optimization.
- Maintain the accuracy of sales orders and production orders in the ERP system, utilizing production schedules to adapt to fluctuating demand and inventory requirements.
- Lead the Production Planning team to enhance efficiency, productivity, and the precision of planning parameters, ensuring customer needs are met.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, revenue analysts, and capacity planners to ensure timely and accurate shipping completion.
- Collaborate with Production Management to monitor production capacity constraints and address any potential issues promptly.
- Ensure production paperwork is prepared accurately and in accordance with ISO-9001 standards.
- Partner directly with production, quality, and manufacturing engineering teams to continuously improve scheduling and planning processes.
- Lead regular production and scheduling meetings, preparing reports on backlog, sales forecasts, sales orders, and shipping completion.
- Work with the Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety teams to ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory quality standards.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics/warehouse teams to adjust material stock levels as needed.
- Ensure all relevant team members are updated with the production schedule and any necessary adjustments.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in scheduling, production control, or coordination, ideally in a high mix/low volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong skills in Sales & Operations (S&O) planning and time management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and Smartsheet.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and strong interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
