Industrial Construction Estimator

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Industrial Construction Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for predicting the costs associated with industrial construction projects by analyzing labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate project budgeting and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review isometrics, steel drawings, equipment drawings, and project specifications to determine the scope of work.
• Estimate the cost of materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Prepare and submit budget proposals and change orders.
• Collaborate with engineers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors to gather necessary information.
• Identify and quantify potential cost uncertainties to ensure accurate cost estimation.
• Maintain records of estimated and actual costs.
• Assess cost-effectiveness of products, projects, or services.
• Conduct risk analysis to support project decision-making processes.
• Communicate with suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers to obtain pricing details.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in MS Office and Bluebeam REVU
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret industrial construction drawings and technical documents.
• Experience with databases and project management software.
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $42.00 - $47.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
