Job Summary
Provides clerical support for the Maintenance Department. The Secretary I is responsible for the production, organization, and issue of identification badges while maintaining accurate records of their usage. Assists with creating purchase orders, maintains Department of Health documentation and preventative maintenance records for offsite locations. Maintains department supplies, orders materials for Maintenance staff from designated vendors, and performs all other administrative tasks as assigned.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
One year of secretarial experience utilizing current software applications.
Preferred
Prior experience with Software House C-Cure Software.

Specific Job Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Responsible for the production, organization and issue of identification badges while maintaining accurate records of their usage including assisting Human Resources with creating identification badges for newly hired employees.
- Responsible for creating purchase orders for the Maintenance Department. Approves invoices and sends to Accounts Payable.
- Maintains Department of Health documentation and all preventive maintenance records for the Health System. Responsible for ordering departmental supplies and materials for Maintenance staff from designated vendors.
- Assists in all other administrative functions and performs the duties of the Maintenance Coordinator, as needed
- Completed mandatory education, annual competencies and department specific education within established timeframes.
- Completed annual employee health requirements within established timeframes.
- Maintained license/certification, registration in good standing throughout fiscal year.
- Consistently utilizes appropriate universal precautions, protective equipment, and ergonomic techniques to protect patient and self. Identifies and works to reduce potentially unsafe patient care or other safety practices.
- Adheres to regulatory agency requirements, survey process and compliance.
