Job Description:
As a CNC Programmer/Operator at IMT, you will play a key role in the production of high-precision components. Your primary responsibility will be to operate and program CNC machines, to create complex parts from various materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components.
- Programming: Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs to meet specifications and ensure accuracy.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine machining requirements.
- Quality Control: Inspect and measure finished parts using various tools and gauges to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with machines, tools, and programs to maintain smooth production processes.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a CNC Programmer/Operator.
- Skills: Proficiency in CNC programming and operation. Experience in Mastercam and SolidWorks is also a plus.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with different types of CNC machines, cutting tools, and measuring instruments.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve machining issues efficiently.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also working independently when required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in CNC machining or Mastercam are a plus.
- Experience with Advanced Technologies: Familiarity with advanced CNC technologies and techniques is desirable.
