Role Description
The Regulatory Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s products comply with all local, national, and international regulations. This role involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, ensuring accurate labeling, and supporting the company in its efforts to meet regulatory standards across its chemical product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and stay up to date on changes in relevant regulations for chemicals, such as REACH, OSHA, TSCA, and GHS, as well as local, national, and international regulatory requirements
- Ensure the company’s chemical products comply with regulatory standards across different regions
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, product development) to ensure all regulatory requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle
- Track and report on regulatory changes and their potential impact on the company’s products and operations
- Maintain accurate records of all regulatory changes related activities using ERP software
- Serve as the primary point of contact with regulatory bodies and agencies for any inquiries or clarifications regarding product compliance
- Assist with regulatory inspections, audits, and product certifications
- Identify potential risks related to non-compliance and recommend corrective actions as per current regulations
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in regulatory affairs, preferably in the chemical or manufacturing industry
Knowledge
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as REACH, OSHA, TSCA, GHS, and other global chemical regulations
- Knowledge of chemical safety and labeling standards, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and ability to manage complex documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
