We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide personalized care to a young lady on the spectrum. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, a deep understanding of the needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities, and a genuine commitment to enhancing the quality of life of the person in their care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care: Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Client led pace and patience in completion of all tasks.
- Medication Management: Administer prescribed medications and ensure proper adherence to medication schedules.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Household Management: Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing the living space.
- Transportation: Provide transportation to appointments, social activities, and other outings as needed.
- Companionship: Offer emotional support and engage in meaningful activities to enhance the client's social and mental well-being.
- Safety Monitoring: Ensure the client's safety by preventing falls, monitoring for potential hazards, and providing supervision as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided, including daily logs, incident reports, and updates to care plans.
- Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience as a caregiver, preferably with disabled adults, is required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in caregiving, CPR, or first aid are a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication, patience, empathy, and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting or transferring clients.
- Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and provide references.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 32 per week
Experience:
- In-Home Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
- Working with Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:
