We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Scheduler for our Home care office. This position will be an in person position Monday through Friday 8a-4p.

Job Summary:
The Home Care Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and managing the schedules of caregivers to ensure clients receive timely and appropriate home care services. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to maintain efficient scheduling operations while meeting client needs and caregiver availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling & Coordination
- Assign and schedule caregivers based on client needs, preferences, and availability.
- Manage and update schedules, ensuring all shifts are filled efficiently.
- Handle last-minute call-offs and find suitable replacements promptly.
Communication & Customer Service
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, caregivers, and internal staff.
- Communicate schedule changes and updates in a timely manner.
- Address caregiver and client concerns regarding scheduling issues.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate records of caregiver schedules, availability, and time-off requests.
- Utilize scheduling software to track shifts and ensure proper documentation.
- Assist in payroll processing by verifying caregiver hours and attendance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Previous experience in scheduling, home care, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent scheduling needs.
- Knowledge of home care industry regulations is a plus.

- Office-based with potential for remote work, depending on company policy.
- Fast-paced environment with frequent phone and computer use.
