What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Finance position at Independent Lifestyles Inc.?
The Finance Director manages the internal financial operations of ILICIL under the direction of the Executive Director and the Board of Directors. Independent Lifestyles (ILICIL) is a Non-Profit organization that provides several programs that align with our Mission: Maximize Independence. We are proud to serve our veterans and individuals with disabilities through our programs.
Oversees all accounting duties necessary to manage the financial operations (i.e. accounts receivable/invoices, accounts payable, general ledger, journal entries, chart of accounts, etc.)A successful candidate must be skilled in QuickBooks, knowledgeable about accrual accounting.
Ensures expenses, taxes and all liabilities are paid and recorded in a timely and appropriate manner.
Oversee ILICIL's bank accounts, the billing process, payroll and budgeting. Update and manager 403B records, monitor investments and make recommendations as appropriate, maintain organization of insurances and bonds for effectiveness and cost efficiency, monitor ILICIL's equipment and inventory.
Hire bonus of $1,000 after 6 months of successful employment!
