Join Services for Independent Living (SIL) as an Adult Independent Living Specialist who primarily works with seniors and adults with disabilities to enhance their ability to live independently. This role involves collaborating closely with the volunteer coordinator to match seniors in the Sunshine for Seniors Program with appropriate volunteers, as well as facilitating monthly groups. This role also works closely with the senior case manager to provide independent living services to keep seniors aging in their homes and closely with the Youth ILS in transitions to adult programming. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of seniors and adults with disabilities.

What will I do?
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' independent living skills.
Work closely with the volunteer coordinator to match volunteers.
Organize and facilitate monthly educational sessions and social groups, providing educational and social opportunities for seniors and adults with disabilities.
Connect clients with community resources, including healthcare, social services, and recreational activities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress.
