About the Role:
We are seeking a Business Analyst II to play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting complex data to provide insights and recommendations to the organization. ILS, along with its affiliated health plans known as Florida Community Care and Florida Complete Care, is committed to promoting a higher quality of life and maximizing independence for all vulnerable populations. The Business Analyst II is responsible for assessments of business needs, documenting requirements, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve business operations and drive growth. These duties will directly impact the Business' ability to provide high-quality services to clients and members.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in health or business administration, Finance, or any related field
- 2 years of experience in business analysis in healthcare settings or related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or other data query languages.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI or QlikView.
- Relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with healthcare data analytics and reporting tools.
- Project management experience
- Process mapping and engineering experience
Responsibilities:
- Understand and document business needs for data, infrastructure and resource requirements.
- Maintain data dictionaries and knowledge libraries.
- Establish best practices and processes for design and development of various reporting solutions.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve business operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
