RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Business Analyst II in Miami, FL.
Duties Include:
* Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements by working closely with stakeholders, developers, and testers
* Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including functional specifications, system design documents, process flows, and user guides
* Create, review, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios to validate system functionality and business requirements
* Collaborate with development teams to ensure system changes meet business needs and comply with technical requirements
* Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for system enhancements and process changes
* Facilitate and participate in requirement gathering sessions, stakeholder meetings, and sprint planning
* As a Business Analyst, you will assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) by preparing test plans, tracking defects, and ensuring issue resolution
* Support project management activities, including timelines, deliverables, and risk assessment
* Provide training and support to end-users on new system functionalities and enhancements
* Maintain documentation standards and ensure alignment with best practices
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on technical documentation and test case development
* Proficiency in writing functional specifications, user stories, and system documentation
* Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
* Experience with testing tools and techniques, including manual and automated testing processes
* Ability to analyze complex business problems and translate them into clear technical solutions
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Strong proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
* Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are a plus
* Experience with SQL and data analysis tools
* Knowledge of API testing and integration testing
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
