About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Provider Communication Specialist to join our team at Independent Living Systems (ILS). As a Provider Communication Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring effective communication between our organization and our network of healthcare providers. You will play a critical role in maintaining positive relationships with our providers and ensuring that they have the information and resources they need to provide the best possible care to our members. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field
- 2 years of experience in healthcare provider relations or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with provider networks in a managed care environment
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience with provider data management systems
Responsibilities:
- Develop and communications and promotional campaigns with our network of healthcare providers
- Aligning communications and promotional activities with business goals, often addressing provider inquiries and concerns
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that providers have the information and resources they need to provide high-quality care
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with cross-functional teams to develop and distribute provider communication material
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in our systems
