About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Improvement Coordinator to join our team at Independent Living Systems (ILS). ILS, along with its affiliated health plans known as Florida Community Care and Florida Complete Care, is committed to promoting a higher quality of life and maximizing independence for all vulnerable populations. As a Quality Improvement Coordinator, you will work closely with our Quality team leadership to analyze data and identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality of care we provide to our patients. Your contributions will be critical to our success in delivering exceptional healthcare services to our community.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or related field
- 2 years of experience in managed care, Medicare, Medicaid, or healthcare setting
- Strong data analytical skills
- Knowledge of federal regulations and industry standards
- Relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or related field
- Experience in quality improvement in a medical setting
- Certification in quality improvement or related field
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Quality team leadership to identify areas for improvement in medical management and clinical programs
- Analyze data and develop strategies to enhance the quality of care provided to members
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and industry standards
- Follow quality improvement initiatives
- Coordinate education and training for staff on quality improvement processes and procedures
Skills:
