This position is best suited for an organized and driven Bookkeeper to join our growing team at our company. The Bookkeeper position will work closely with other staff members to ensure operational procedures are executed timely and files kept to the highest standard.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 years of office experience or higher-level education with a focus in accounting.
- Experience with accounting software / property management software is preferred.
Qualifications:
- 1 years bookkeeping experience
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office, Excel, and databases
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and self-direct
- Filing requires ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, balance on stepping stool, lift up to 20 lbs.

- Previous experience in property management is preferred, but not required
- Experience working in multi-entity environments is preferred, but not required
- Experience performing a high volume of transactions with accuracy is required
Responsibilities:
- Review A/P entered prior to check run ensuring invoice entry accuracy and correct coding
- Print checks, match to A/P packet, and submit for signature
- Mail checks while verifying checks match stub total and remit address
- File all closed A/P prior to next check run
- Move current month closed A/P to monthly retention after last check run of month
- Assist staff with invoice retrieval for various office-related requests
- Receive and record vendor transmittals
- Organize and maintain A/P files
- Produce positive pay report for submission
- Compile security deposit refund supporting documents for supervisor review
- Ensure all utility allowance checks are printed and mailed in accordance to policy and procedure
- Other projects assigned by a Supervisor based on your skills and accessibility
