Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Certified Coding Specialist to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This role is exclusively available to residents of Kansas. You will play a key role in the efficiency of our medical practice’s revenue cycle, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct verification of patient information and accurately assign procedure and diagnosis codes.
• Enter charges and submit claims to insurance providers, ensuring timely processing.
• Generate patient statements and meticulously post payments and adjustments.
• Manage denials and facilitate patient collections effectively.
• Oversee all aspects of aging related to accounts receivable.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficient understanding of medical coding guidelines.
• Strong capabilities in reading, writing, grammar, typing, and mathematical skills.
• Familiarity with Family Medicine coding and eCW systems is highly desirable.
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision in coding practices.
  
  

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Coder is mandatory.
• Experience in the medical billing field is preferred.
