Church Child Care Worker

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of children in our care. In this Christ-centered environment, it is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.

Responsibilities:
- Must be available Sunday mornings from 8am-12pm & Wednesday Evenings from 5-8pm. Other weekday and weekend hours are available as well.

- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities
- Supervise and engage children in play, both indoors and outdoors
- Change diapers and assist with potty training, as needed
- Monitor children's behavior and address any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and provide updates on their child's progress
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare area

Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare, babysitting, or caregiving role
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- First aid and CPR certification a plus
- Education or coursework in early childhood education or related field is a plus

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a structured environment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
