This role analyzes recurring problems, initiates solutions to prevent reoccurrence, and analyzes existing infrastructure for tuning/performance enhancements.

Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning, as well as trouble shooting IT Systems
- Configure and manage operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Leverage Ansible modules to monitor system health, identify issues, and implement automated remediation strategies.
- Manage switch configuration and apply STE/STN compliance requirements to servers and network device while supporting the 13 playbook
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Ten (10) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Proficient in Linux and Ansible skills.
- Experience with switch configuration skills and experience applying STE/STN compliance requirements to servers
- IAT Level II
