Rope Access NDT Visual Inspector (offshore)
Location : Houma, LA
The Rope Access NDT Inspector (offshore) is responsible for performing Ultrasonic Thickness testing, and general and close visual piping inspections in accordance with the client’s procedures.
Detailed inspection reports and related inspection activities will be completed according to the client’s processes and submitted to the client’s integrity team.
The inspector is required to follow Company and Client safety standards and practices, and comply with legal regulations.
Essential Qualifications :
- Rope access certified, preferably IRATA.
- Have ASNT Visual testing certification (or equivalent).
- Have UT level 2 certification.
- Have valid offshore survival and medical.
- Be based, and authorized to work in the USA.
- 3 years minimum site experience performing visual inspections.
- Ability to provide clear verbal and written technical instructions and reports, with team members and the client representative.
- Understand piping and engineering drawings.
