Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting food boxes to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will interact with clients and ensure their satisfaction with our services. The Delivery Driver will also be involved in loading and unloading products, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and adhering to all food safety regulations.
Duties
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles.
- Load and unload products efficiently, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary.
- Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist in kitchen operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of products.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience in route driving and knowledge of local roadways is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading tasks.
- Familiarity with food operations is beneficial.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; is an advantage.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is preferred but not mandatory.
