We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Pediatric Medical Assistant to join our growing Pediatric Department. The ideal candidate will assist pediatricians in providing high-quality care to children and their families. This role involves performing clinical tasks, supporting patient care, and ensuring the smooth operation of the pediatric office.
Essential duties:
Greet and prepare pediatric patients for examinations.

Measure and record vital signs, including weight, height, temperature, and blood pressure.

Assist with routine pediatric exams and procedures, including administering vaccinations and immunizations.

Prepare and maintain accurate medical records for patients.

Provide education to parents and caregivers regarding treatments, procedures, and pediatric care.

Assist pediatricians with medical procedures and examinations.

Prepare and sterilize medical instruments as required.

Document patient histories, symptoms, and progress notes in the medical records system.

Administer oral medications and injections under the supervision of the pediatrician.

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred.
- 1 years of Pediatric medical office experience preferred.
- BLS CPR Certification.
