Job Title: IT Assistant Job Summary: KPHC is seeking one full-time IT Assistant to work at the Santo Domingo Health Center. Santo Domingo Health Center operation hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Position Details: The primary purpose of IT Assistant position is to service as the primary point of contact to evaluate, install, troubleshoot and administer software and hardware needed to support applications programmed for the Health Center, as well as providing technical guidance and recommendations for the planning, management and coordination of the Local Area Network (LAN), Private Cloud Network (PCN), Wide Area Network (WAN) and WEB application within the Santo Domingo Health Center. Provides primary support to users of the LAN and is responsible for implementing electronic mail. Provides support in the areas of voice, data, radio, paging and facsimile communication systems. Qualifications: Minimum Mandatory Qualifications: Experience: - Minimum of two to three years experience in planning, management and coordination of the local area network (LAN), cloud computing, wide area network (WAN) and WEB applications. - One year of specialized experience. Such experience is typically gained in the IT field or through the performance of work where the primary focus is IT. Specialized experience includes installing, implementing, troubleshooting arrays of Microsoft Windows or UNIX platforms; analyzing or coordinating data storage requirements, determining relevant hardware, software, connectivity requirements, and information flow; and identifying technical requirements of end-users, tests and interpreting functionality of hardware and software. Education: - Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
