What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at INDIAN HILLS COUNTRY CLUB?
Job Summary:
Servers at Indian Hills Country Club are expected to work in A La Carte dining rooms, including our poolside dining/bar, as well as serving on banquets/private events of various size, times, and requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up and breaking down event spaces or dining rooms
- Taking orders, serving food and drinks, or keeping buffets stocked
- Entering orders using the POS system
- Interacting with members and guests on a regular basis, must always keep a professional and welcoming attitude
- Tableside wine service
- Bussing tables and maintain an enjoyable dining space.
- Communicating with team members and management
- Side work tasks such as: polishing silverware, rolling silverware, polishing glassware, restocking, sweeping, etc.
Qualifications:
- Punctual, professional, having a willingness to learn and communicate.
Education:
- High school diploma
Experience:
- Previous server or hospitality experience preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Evenings, weekends, and holiday availability are required.
Salary and Benefits:
- $17/hr - $21/hr
