Description:
Perform duties to maintain and organize records managed by the District office. This is a part-time .5 FTE position working July - June.
Job Summary:
1. Maintains a records management system that organizes, logs, and archives student records.
2. Utilizes district-wide data management systems to retrieve any data for file requests.
3. Performs routine checks and comparisons of reports or records for compliance with specific program requirements.
4. Ensures records are complete and orderly.
5. Performs data entry tasks, updates existing records and verifies information pertaining to records requests.
6. Prepares and processes student records requests or correspondence in a timely manner. This includes communication with parents, school district staff, attorneys, and other schools/agencies.
7. Performs clerical duties related to students placed outside of the district.
8. Assists District staff with clerical tasks (i.e. photocopy, print, fax, assemble information packets).
9. Prepares records for destruction.
10. Answers telephone and email inquiries related to records requests.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
1. Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly and concisely.
2. Ability to organize and prioritize information effectively and efficiently.
3. Ability to work collaboratively with school and district personnel.
4. Ability to lift 40 pounds.
5. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite or related software.
Working Conditions: District Office
Rate of pay: $16.48/hour
