We are seeking highly motivated Engineering Interns to join our team in the Department of Utility Services. The interns will work closely with our experienced engineering and operations staff to assist in the planning, design, and maintenance and operations of utility systems, comprising water, wastewater and reuse services. This internship offers valuable learning opportunities in the utilities engineering and operations field and the chance to contribute to meaningful projects.
- Assists in the planning and design of utility systems, including water, wastewater, and reuse systems.
- Conducts research and gathers data to support engineering projects.
- Collaborates with engineers to analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Assists in the preparation of technical reports, drawings, and documentation.
- Participates in field surveys and data collection activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the engineering team.
Education/Experience:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in an engineering discipline, or related field.
Licenses, Certifications, or Registrations:

Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
