Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Spa Manager to oversee the daily operations of our spa facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and maintaining a welcoming environment for our clients. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for the wellness industry, and the ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and clients alike.
The Spa Operations Manager is responsible for assisting the Spa Director with overseeing the Spa Operations to include: Front Desk, Providers, Attendants and Support staff, ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction. The Spa Operations Manager will work closely with the Spa Director to align with the resort's vision and operational goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the spa facilities, including staff and guests
- Group Sales - Contract negotiations, client communication and delivery of spa events.
- Ensure smooth and efficient service delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation throughout the Spa facilities.
- Assist the Spa Director to develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance service efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Assist in managing the budget and financial performance of the spa, including revenue targets, cost control, and profit margins.
- Prepare necessary reports to identify trends, forecast needs, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and mentoring the staff to build a strong, motivated team. Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and foster professional development.
- Support the Spa Director to ensure adherence to resort policies, procedures, and standards.
- Monitor guest feedback and ensure service standards meet or exceed expectations.
- Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Experience and Education
Previous spa experience or hospitality management experience required. College degree preferred.
