About the Role

We are seeking an IT Security Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's critical assets and data. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain security measures to protect our infrastructure, proactively manage cyber threats, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices across departments while supporting business growth with scalable, cost-effective security strategies. Your responsibilities will include :

Security Strategy & Risk Management

Design and implement security measures to protect company assets and data.
Assess and mitigate emerging cyber threats using advanced security technologies.
Conduct root cause analysis and remediation for security incidents.
Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
Develop and maintain security policies aligned with Zero-Trust principles.

Threat Detection & Incident Response

Monitor, analyze, and respond to security threats in real time.

Implement proactive threat detection and adaptive security strategies.

Conduct penetration testing, security audits, and risk assessments.

Manage user access controls and privileged account monitoring.

Scalability & Business Alignment

Align security frameworks with business growth and compliance requirements.

Integrate cybersecurity initiatives with operational goals to improve efficiency and resilience.

Minimize financial risks associated with cyber incidents through proactive risk management.

Collaboration & Training

Educate employees on cybersecurity best practices, phishing prevention, and data protection.

Develop and conduct cybersecurity training to foster a security-aware culture.

Collaborate with IT and business teams to strengthen overall security posture.

Documentation & Compliance Reporting

Maintain up-to-date network and security documentation for audit readiness.

Generate security reports, KPIs, and real-time dashboards for leadership insights.

Utilize data-driven analysis to optimize security investments and risk mitigation.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

Research and implement emerging security technologies to enhance network efficiency.

Participate in network design and architecture planning for future expansions.

Support regulatory and internal security audits to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

Who We're Looking For

We seek individuals who are passionate about cybersecurity, proactive risk management, and protecting critical assets. Ideal candidates will have :

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer information security, cybersecurity, or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

2-5 years of experience in system administration, technical support, or cybersecurity roles.

Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security are preferred.

Experience in threat analysis, incident response, and risk assessment.

Proficiency in security frameworks, compliance regulations, and Zero-Trust principles.

Technical Skills & Abilities

Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat intelligence, and incident response.

Experience with SIEM, IDS / IPS, firewalls, IAM, endpoint protection, and security automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash).

Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX.

Strong log analysis, forensic investigation, and penetration testing skills.

Ability to design and implement security architectures and frameworks.

Soft Skills

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to effectively present security briefings to leadership.

Strong project management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.

Leadership in incident response and crisis management.

Ability to conduct security training and promote a security-aware culture.
