Indiana Donor Network is currently hiring a Referral Response Coordinator (RRC). Key responsibilities include:
- Respond onsite to assigned hospitals in a timely manner to assess donation potential for possible referrals and follows up on active referrals
- Provides multidisciplinary donation education to hospital team members
- Collaboratively follows up on variances
- Maintains appropriate record keeping in order to sustain and/or improve service delivery to the hospital and Indiana Donor Network, as well as improve donation and transplant outcomes from hospitals in the designated service area
- Participates on projects or committees that enhance or improve the overall success or culture of the organization
This is a day shift position. The primary schedule will be 12-hour shifts from 7am to 7pm, alternating 3 and 4 shifts per week. I minimum of 2 weekends per month required.
Qualifications
A minimum of an associate's degree in a clinical area, such as nursing, respiratory therapy, or another related area is required. Previous exposure to a critical care delivery setting is required. Professional experience in the donation community is a plus.
