Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Referral Coordinator to join our team. The Referral Coordinator will be responsible for managing the referral process and ensuring timely and accurate coordination of new patient referrals. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of medical terminology, coding, and insurance verification.
The Referral Coordinator will adhere to and support the center's mission, vision, values, goals, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures. Additionally, the candidate must follow all training provided, fulfill assigned duties, maintain user access to necessary websites, and assist in the smooth operation of the department.
Key responsibilities include performing effectively in situations that require direction, control, planning, and execution of the daily schedule. The candidate must also demonstrate the ability to work well with others in a polite and tactful manner while maintaining confidentiality and exercising good judgment when handling sensitive information.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Visual acuity for chart review and equipment operation.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate
Medical office training and or experience
Good communication skills
Ability to operate computer
