Summary/objective
To train the basic functionality of an employee’s position. Provide instruction, feedback, guidance and practice to become efficient employees while also enforcing credit union policies and procedures.
Essential functions

- Mentor and coach all staff through positive reinforcement
- Conduct in-class and remote training and all administrative support for this function
- Observe practice of teller fundamentals at branch locations
- Complete evaluations to assess performance, improvement, impact of training, and development plans
- Monitor teller variations and maintain documentation
- Assist department supervisor in development and implementation of new training
- Provide branch staff support through monitoring and coaching at branch locations
- Provide branch support by answering questions and resolving problems
- Review, maintain, and create enhancements for existing policies, procedures, and training materials
- Keep training area stocked with supplies, clean, and orderly
- Test any enhancements to the operating systems
- Cover for branches when necessary

Required education and experience
- 12-18 months credit union/banking experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred education and experience
- Corporate training experience
