Job Summary
Undergraduate Education (UE) is looking for a driven, talented media specialist to create and implement visual concepts for distribution online, on social media, and in print publications. As part of the marketing team, the Multi-Media Intern will collaborate with other marketing specialists to create compelling content, capture student stories, and promote UE student services, programs, events, and initiatives.
Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Ideates and creates videos in partnership with UE Marketing that are in alignment with university priorities, events, and initiatives.
- Develops high-quality content that encourages sharing, engagement, and elevation of the IU brand.
- Shoots, edits, and records photography, videography, and audio interviews.
- Videos and photographs events for internal and external marketing campaigns and assists with headshots for new employees.
- Suggests and creates digital content (memes, gifs, graphics, animations, illustrations) for Indiana University UE accounts.
- Evaluates and suggests trends for brand adoption and adaptation.
- Serves as an advocate and ally of IU, elevates community concerns, and identifies content opportunities that prioritize resources and information.
- Analyzes content performance, measures success and determines adjustments or optimization.
- Works collaboratively with staff and takes initiative on projects.
- Receives training in marketing analytics and customer relationship management (CRM) and then applies the training in hands-on opportunities, working on marketing projects for UE.
- Maintains effective, constant, open and positive communication, both written and oral, with all involved parties.

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
