Job Summary
The graphic designer position is a part-time role responsible for developing a variety of designs for digital and print content within UITS and UCM.
Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Plays a key creative role on the team, working within brand guidelines to design marketing collateral for various channels.
- Develops, produces and manages design deliverables on the IT communications team for projects incorporating email and web graphics, infographics, slide decks, social media and others.
- Works collaboratively with team members to support overall print and digital design needs for the IT communications team.
- Designs basic and complex communication, marketing, and web materials by established deadlines for a variety of audiences and for distributions across print and digital platforms.
- Independently applies brand guidelines and design principles.
- Provides feedback and guidance on other designs produced by the team.
- Works with vendors on units' behalf to order printed materials and imprint items.
- Reports to the Communications Manager.
- Reports on progress and provides regular updates to upper management.
- Other duties as assigned.

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

Advertised Salary
16.00-$20.00 per hour dependent upon qualifications
