Job Summary
- Supports the Housing Operations and Assignments desk by utilizing various office skills with a focus on customer service and attention to detail.
- Provides support to the department's professional staff.
- Manages email and voicemail communications by offering general phone support for student requests, housing assignments, the move-in process, and medical accommodations.
- Provides directional guidance to students, staff, and vendors entering the buildings.
- Serves as an information source for housing assignments and processes.
- Assists with tabling information during the summer New Student Orientation programs.
- Supports Residence Life initiatives.

Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
Additional Information
There are a limited number of positions available for the spring and summer.
There may be opportunities to continue in a similar capacity for the fall semester.

Advertised Salary
12.00 - $13.00 per hour based on qualifications and experience
Work Hours
8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday, with an average of 10-20 hours per week
Minimal weekend and evening work may be required
