Job Summary
Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Leads daily operation by coordinating and administrating the activities of the dining location.
- Oversees and monitors the budget of the unit and inventory control.
- Coordinates special events and summer conferences.
- Accountable for the financial results of the unit.
- Leads Assistant Manager and Sous Chef to supervise and direct full / part-time staff and student employees with preparation, order taking, and delivery of food.

Working Conditions / Demands
This position requires tasks typically associated with back-of-the-house work. It involves periods of both sedentary work and times of frequent movement about the workspace. This position involves using commercial kitchen equipment and tools, moving supplies or objects weighing up to 50 pounds and effective communication skills are necessary. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

Advertised Salary
47,000 per year
Work Hours
Shift times vary according to business needs and will include days through the week as well as weekends (as necessary) to meet operational demands. Management reserves the right to adjust work hours to accommodate special meals and events.
