The Consultant - Quality Improvement develops, coordinates, implements, and evaluates the continuous quality improvement activities for assigned populations. Possesses a strong understanding of data to identify root causes and present outcomes effectively. Capable of facilitating and leading multidisciplinary groups. Demonstrates self-motivation, initiative, and problem-solving skills. Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management. Performs ongoing analysis of gaps in clinical care and barriers to care, aligning interventions with the strategic plan. Facilitates the organization's performance improvement process in collaboration with project team leader(s). Conducts training/education programs for the organization staff and physicians in performance improvement methodologies, data analysis, data processing, work simplification techniques, as well as other subjects related to performance improvement.

Bachelors Degree required. Masters degree in clinical healthcare or business preferred. Registered Nurse with an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license preferred. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification preferred. 5-7 years of experience in healthcare. Strong skills in Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. May require knowledge of data entry systems (e.g. NCQA IDSS/ISS tools, electronic health records, supplemental databases, HEDIS software tools). Occasional local travel (no overnight).
