Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) invites applications for the position of Human Resources Manager - Talent Acquisition Management (MGR 170) in the Office of Human Resources.The Human Resources Manager -Talent Acquisition Management is responsible for the full scope of activities related to the development and implementation of a comprehensive recruitment plan for non-instructional staff positions in AFSCME, SCUPA, University Nurses (OPEIU) and University Police (SPFPA and POA), and Non-represented employees with a focus on increasing the diversity of applicant pools for these positions. This position develops, reviews, and maintains job descriptions for staff, administrators, managers, and non-instructional faculty members. This position is also responsible for performing job classification analyses. This position also ensures that talent acquisition management initiatives align with HR departmental and operational needs as well as the overall needs of the University and serves as lead for all recruitment functions.This is a non-represented management position.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
MINIMUM: Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of recruitment related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience to sufficiently perform the duties of the position.Work experience that provides a foundation for successful completion of job functions.PREFERRED: Experience with software packages such as Microsoft Office, Banner, and SAP.Experience with Applicant Tracking Software.HR Certification (HRCI or SHRM).Candidates must have the communication skills and cross-cultural abilities to maximize their effectiveness with diverse groups of students, colleagues, and community members.Candidates must communicate effectively and perform well in the interview(s).
