Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the Admissions team including coordinating and appropriately distributing workload
- Monitor, supervise, mentor and maintain constant contact with team (via email, virtual meetings, one-on-one meetings, and phone calls)
- Create a performance management culture where employees are performing at the highest levels possible
- Coach and provide development opportunities
- Proficient in all policies and procedures related to the admissions/evaluation area
- Be able to answer questions and troubleshoot any issues/problems
- Develop, review, and maintain written policies to ensure evaluation consistency
- Create and maintain relationships across National & Global units to represent admission team, serve as point person for the operational side of admissions
- Learn and understand all aspects of the university student information system, CRM, and document imaging system concerning the admission/evaluation areas including communications management, degree audit, use of saved lists, reporting tools, queries, file and field structure, and the comprehensive student application system
- Work together with AVP and other Associate Directors to strategize, plan and execute best practices for operational policy and procedure and staff development in the Enrollment Operations and Student Services area

Education
- Bachelor degree required; master's preferred
Experience
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
- Previous experience in higher education preferred
Required Skills
- Proficient in software technology including Access, Microsoft Office Suite, student SIS systems, CRM, document imaging
- Ability to lead, manage, coach and develop personnel in various areas of responsibility
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills for relating effectively with constituents of the University
- Work with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work without supervision and be a self-starter
- Strong organizational skills
