Duties and Responsibilities
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with community partners and campus partners
- Planning event details
- Creating reliable financial reports, records and reimbursements
- Managing events and addressing potential problems that may arise
- Maintaining a working knowledge of the complex needs of a wide variety of events
Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.
Education
- Some college required
- Bachelors degree preferred
Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years prior experience in an administrative support role
Required Skills
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and work without supervision
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
