Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician Status: Full Time
Reports To: Senior Director of Stadium Operations FLSA: Exempt
Department: Facilities Effective: May 2025
Job Summary:
Maintain and repair the Victory Field mechanical, structural, electrical, and plumbing systems while also preserving and enhancing the aesthetic appearance of the facility. Provide a safe, clean, friendly and well-maintained facility for fans, staff, sponsors and players.
Essential Functions:
- Assist and support on all maintenance and repairs of Victory Field. This includes, but is not limited to, mechanical, structural, electrical and plumbing systems
- Assist and support the preventative maintenance program for all of Victory Field’s systems
- Assist and coordinate the installation of Stadium Signage, Advertising & Marketing materials, as needed
- Oversee stadium operations equipment maintenance and repair (pressure washers, toters, floor scrubbers, blowers, etc.)
- Manage and control appropriate budget accounts
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all other departments
- Develop relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Ensure that all projects are completed in a safe manner according to OSHA regulations
- Play an integral role in development, oversight and execution of Victory Field safety program
Other Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist with painting and carpentry projects
- Provide input on all projected facility capital improvements
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, manuals & schedules
- Seek continuing education and training opportunities
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent. Trade school and at least 2 years related experience in facility maintenance.
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
MS Office experience
Metasys or other building automation system experience a plus
Ability to multitask in a stressful environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to remain standing for long periods of time and to walk long distances
Excellent people and customer service skills
Coachable, willing and able to learn quickly
Ability to work up to 14 hours per day and up to 100 hours per week
