Major Responsibilities And Regular Activities
- Answering emails and phone calls and acting as Liaison between parents and the fine arts department teachers.
- Administrative tasks as needed, such as making copies, submitting bills for payment, ordering supplies and items for fine arts
- Maintain a database for the fine arts departments to communicate with parents throughout the year.
- Keep track of department fees and follow up on delinquent payments.
- Manage Box Office by setting up every event, managing the communication of events to the general public, and selling tickets for all ticketed events.
- Organize Junior Royal Theatre Camp in June and July. This includes making sure we have staff, securing rights to the chosen production, getting registration information out, and general support.
- Class coverage as needed for Fine Arts Department
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND/OR ABILITIES
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Supports the operations of the Fine Arts Department
- Clerical support for Fine Arts
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational skills
- Willingness to foster the school and Church's mission
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and work experience that allows the employee to perform the required work
- Must be able to understand and to comply with the Archdiocese of Indianapolis Code of Conduct
- Must be able to complete successfully the Archdiocese of Indianapolis Child Safety Training
- Background screening required
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to stand, sit, walk, talk, feel, hear, and handle.
- Work is performed on school campus outdoors or inside the school building. Possible exposure to weather and temperature changes. Possible exposure to cleaning chemicals and bodily fluids. Requires standing or walking for long periods. Work environment can be occasionally noisy.
