Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage necessary school funding accounts (Deposits and more)
- Maintain a secure entry
- Order supplies, books, etc.
- Communicate with other schools and complete necessary paperwork for student transfers (withdraw and enrollment)
- Communicate with counselors and assistant principals in reference to student attendance. Students with at least three unexcused absences per quarter need to be marked as "frequently absent." Report truancy and track attendance daily
- Maintain student records
- Complete/print report cards
- Receive and route incoming and outgoing calls and written communication (student illness, absences, bus transportation, and other responsibilities pertaining to keeping a smooth office flow)
- Plan for and staff registration
- Schedule all events (conferences, speakers, and more on school calendar)
- Write rental receipts
- Collect field trip money and write checks to the vendor
- In absence of administrator supervise students in office (call administration on radio)
- Perform nurse's duties when nurse is unavailable
- Assist with free and reduced lunch status
- Meet parents
- Sign students in and out when outside of the normal day
- Process personal and professional leave forms
- Maintain testing security during ISTEP window
- Assist substitute teachers
- Balance checkbooks
- Reimburse money
- Sign for deliveries
- Distribute school mail
- Complete end of the year ECA reports
- Reconcile ECA account
- Postage
- Attach fees on Skyward for new students
- Update information on Skyward
- Athletics: write checks to officials for all events, prepare money boxes for all events, verify money after all events
- Order and fill physical education uniforms and swimsuits-Jr. High
- Any duties assigned by the Principal, Assistant Principal, Counselor, and Athletic Director
