Job Responsibilities
- Work in inclusive and special education setting alongside individual(s) with disabilities
- Work collaboratively with special education team
- Support with implementing ambitious, rigorous, and standards-aligned curricula, lesson and unit plans, and activities to meet and exceed academic targets
- Support with providing engaging, differentiated, appropriately paced, and rigorous instruction to individual(s) with disabilities
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
- Build strong relationships with parents, students and colleagues, driving investment in school culture and academics through consistent, clear communication.
- Participate in regular practice-based professional development and real-time coaching.
- Participate in additional school activities including field trips, intensive academic support sessions, and other required programs as needed throughout the year
- Commit to teach an extended daily schedule: 7:10am - 4:15pm.
- Other duties as assigned.
To be considered as a Paraprofessional, you must:
- Two years of college completion is preferred
- Belief in and alignment with Circle City Prep's core values and educational philosophy is non-negotiable.
- Pass a criminal background check, as required by law.
