We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Growth to lead efforts in securing and scaling impactful client relationships while ensuring operational alignment. The Director of Growth will also oversee new business forecasting, coordinating resource needs with the Director of Operations, and ensure project profitability and client satisfaction.

Key Qualifications
Location: New York, NY or Raleigh, NC in a hybrid work setting (split between working from home, shared offices, and client locations).
Compensation: As required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, Indie Consulting provides a range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements. The salary range for this role is $160,000-$200,000 per year, with commission and bonus eligibility up to $250K annually. Additional benefits include health insurance and a 401k plan.

Key Responsibilities
Partnerships and Business Development
- Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with agencies and external collaborators to drive mutual growth opportunities.
- Lead pitches for inbound leads, crafting tailored solutions that address client needs and align with agency capabilities. Collaborate with service directors, as needed.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, ensuring alignment with the agency’s strategic goals.
- Act as the primary liaison for high-value partnerships, ensuring consistent communication and relationship-building.
- Manage the end-to-end process of scoping new client projects, ensuring clear deliverables, accurate timelines, and profitability goals.
- Oversee the onboarding of new clients, collaborating with internal teams to ensure a seamless and positive experience.
- Serve as the main point of contact for new clients during the initial phases of engagement, establishing trust and alignment.
- Develop and maintain accurate new business forecasts to inform resource planning and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to align resource availability with forecasted project demands.
- Provide leadership with insights into pipeline health, win rates, and revenue projections to support decision-making.
- Lead the renewal process for existing client scopes, in partnership with the service Director, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Work closely with account management and service Director to ensure client satisfaction and build long-term partnerships.
- Develop strategies to maintain a high retention rate, using data-driven insights to inform renewal pitches.
- Track and report on KPIs related to new business development, resource utilization, and client renewals.
- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on how to improve sales pipelines, resourcing strategies, and client experiences.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes for onboarding, scoping, and resource management.
Key Qualifications
- 10 years in business development, client services, or operations, preferably in an agency environment.
- Proven track record of pitching and closing deals with mid-to-large clients.
- Experience with pipeline management and forecasting to support operational readiness.
- Strong experience in scoping, resourcing, and managing project lifecycles.
- Ability to inspire teams and foster collaboration across departments.
- Skilled at identifying growth opportunities and developing actionable strategies.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, with a focus on retention and long-term partnerships.
