JOB ROLE SUMMARY
The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing the entire project life cycle of renewable energy projects including designing, building and delivering system hardware, configuring SCADA / control systems, commissioning sites, and fulfilling of energy market qualification services. The individual in this role will have a strong technical background in power and control systems as well as a proven track record of project management.
Indie Energy is supporting some of the largest Solar PV and Energy Storage projects all across North America. Our software and project design approach is a unique one and one that is resonating within industry as evidenced by our growing project portfolio. Part of the role of technical project manager will be to participate in continuous improvement of the Indie Platform and Project Management System.
QUALIFICATIONS
3 Years of Project Management Experience
Core Understanding of Power System Fundamentals
Experience with deploying Power Generation SCADA and Control Systems
Track Record of successful collaboration in a fast-paced multi-discipline project environment
Hands-On approach and willingness to drive project deliverables such as I / O list, control narrative, and SAT Test Procedures
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Extensive experience leading PV and Battery Energy Storage projects
Skilled in commissioning ERCOT, CAISO, and other energy market projects
Familiarity of IEEE 1547, 2800, NERC CIP
Experience with workflow automation, databases, and scripting languages such as Python
Exposure to network design, firewalls, and cybersecurity requirements
