Position Summary

The Director of Training and Quality is responsible for ensuring the retail health division becomes and remains a destination workplace where one receives world-class training and development. You will plan, design, and lead the implementation of training and quality programs that build and develop a strong workforce for the future

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain clinical curriculum for Retail Health staff.
• Oversee and maintain quality for Point of Care Testing training.
• Strategizes, designs, and directs activities to ensure the assigned division becomes and remains a destination workplace in any market that it touches.
• Directs the design, development and implementation of employee development strategies, programs and content
• Oversee quality measurement, improvement, and reporting programs, including quality and training throughput
• Facilitates change and transition efforts in various parts of the organization to ensure identified workforce goals are fully achieved
• Serves as key contributor and partner in the journey to becoming a Highly Reliable Organization by supporting design and delivery of training and quality programs
• Supervises professional and clinical staff, providing direction, coaching, development and guidance to the same, creating a team environment through training, performance management, recognition/evaluation, and in-service education which produces optimum work habits and job performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required
• MSN, MBA, MHA, MPH degree preferred
• Current license as a RN required
• Ten (10) years of experience in any combination of leadership development, education, or training role
• Five (5) years of experience in a management capacity
• Strong communication and presentation skills with demonstrated experience
• Consulting and/or executive coaching experience in a healthcare environment preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $129,147.00 - $186,722.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
